I received a damaged shipment. What should I do?

Please email us details of what was damaged to info@technicare.com. Including the following…

  • The order number.
  • Which prints or products were damaged.
  • We need a photo of the outside of the box, damaged product and a photo of the shipping label. We need all 3 photos.

The package needs to be available for inspection (that includes the package and the damaged product) until the investigation is over. Please keep these items until we instruct otherwise.

Once we have this information emailed to us we will respond letting you know the next steps. 

Do I need to create an account to purchase merchandise from your ‘eStore’?

No, you don’t. You can order in-store, over the phone or online!

How and when am I notified that a payment has been transacted through my credit card?

Within minutes of completing a transaction, you will be notified by email. This email will contain the dollar value of the transaction along with the invoice number, as such, you may want to print or store this for future reference. A detailed invoice will be included when goods are shipped or are picked up.

I want to ship my product. What options do you have?

Below are details for the available Shipping Options when placing lab service orders:

I’m having difficulties logging into Order Tracking and “My Orders”.

If you’re having troubles logging into order tracking to see the status of your orders please try clearing your browsers cache/cookies. This will typically fix the problem and will allow you to log into order tracking. Below are instructions on how to do this for both MAC and PC. 

On PC

Chrome – Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete this will open the “Clear Browser Data” dialog box. Click on “Advanced” and select “Cookies and other site data”, and “Cached images and files”, and click on “Clear Data”.

FireFox – Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete, this will open the “Clear All History” dialog box. Select “Cookies”, “Cached”, and click on “Clear Now”.

Internet Explorer – Press Ctrl+Shift+Delete this will open the “Delete Browser History” dialog box. Unselect the “Preserver Favorites website data” Select “Cookies and website data”, “Temporary Internet files and website files”, and click on “Delete”.

On MAC

Chrome – Press Command⌘ + Y to open the history screen. On the left hand side click on “Clear Browser Data”. From the dialog box that will appear click on “Advanced” and select “Cookies and other site data”, and “Cached images and files”, and click on “Clear Data”.

FireFox – Command⌘ + Shift + Delete, this will open the “Clear Recent History” dialog box. Select “Cookies”, “Cache” and then click “Clear Now”.

Safari – Press Command⌘ + Y to open the history screen. In the top righthand corner click on ” Clear History…”. From the dialog box that appears select “all history” and click “Clear History”.

What is Laser Engraving?

Laser Engraving is the act of stripping the anodized coating to reveal the metal underneath. The logo, clipart or other artwork will show up in a whiteish/metallic tint. Colour information will be engraved whitish, the white information inside the file is disregarded.

How can I check the status of my order?

You can check the status of your orders, track shipments and see estimated completion dates using our Order Tracking system.

Do you offer drop shipping?

Yes, we do. Our Dropship program can save time and simplify workflow by having orders sent directly to your clients. All invoices and Technicare branded paperwork are removed from drop shipped orders.

Ship -Letter Rate (Canada and USA): This service is designed for smaller print orders that can be sent in sturdy cardboard mailers up to a maximum print size of 8″x12″ and weight of 500 grams. Orders can
be sent to any address in Canada or the USA. Completed packages will always indicate your studio location for a return address. This service, using Canada Post, is the most
economical but is not traceable and no guarantee of delivery is provided. Costs associated for reprinting orders that fail delivery falls on the studio.

Drop Ship -Parcel Rate Canada: This Drop Ship service is fully traceable and comes with guaranteed delivery. The cost of Parcel shipping is based on order content (size, weight and value) and is calculated on the checkout screen when the order is being prepared for submission.

Drop Ship -Parcel Rate USA: This Drop Ship service is also fully traceable and comes with guaranteed delivery. The cost of Parcel shipping is based on order content (size, weight and value) and is calculated on the checkout screen when the order is being prepared for submission.

Ordering Custom Sizes

For custom sized prints your image needs to be sized to exactly what you require.

You will need to select the next largest size to the size you require.

For example, if you need an 18×38 you will need to select a 20×40. Your file must be sized to the size you want output (18×38).

(Generally, we can only do custom sizing to the closest ½”.)

Once you drop the image into the panel you will need to select the Crop or Fit button, which appears when you click inside the main panel.

When you click on the Crop or Fit button it will open up some white space.

Please let us know if you want the white trimmed off in the special instructions area upon checkout.

You must also put a note in the special instruction indicating it is a custom size and the specific size you want.

Custom Size 02
If you are doing a custom sized Metal Print, you will need to click the radio button in the options that says Allow to fit, and you will be charged accordingly for cutting a custom size. Cost for cutting varies based on the size of the metal being cut.

You need to specify the exact size you need.

HG Metal custom size

ROES Client and 4K displays – Small Print (PC Only)

Steps to correct small display size of the ROES client on a 4K monitor. This is only an issue on a PC.

Go to this location:
C:Program Files(x86)\ROES\TechnicareClassicROESWebStart.exe

Highlight ROESWebStart.exe, right click and select Properties.

In Properties select Compatibility tab.

Click on “Change High DPI Settings”

Turn on “Override high DPI scaling behaviour. Scaling performed by:” and select “System” from the drop down menu.

Click Apply/OK, close all windows

Relaunch the ROES Client
